Hand Counseling Center
One of the most worrisome aspects of a patient’s surgery is not fully understanding the procedure they face and all the details of what will happen. Our experienced team of Surgical Registered Nurse Counselors spend as much time as needed to explain each step in the process and assure the patient of what they can expect. The Nurse Counselor team collaborates directly with our physicians to assure the best possible outcome and ensure the patients’ surgical experience is as stress-free as possible.
Upon seeing one of our Physicians and a determination is made for surgery, the patient will be counseled by one of our Registered Nurses counselors. At that time you may ask any additional questions concerning your surgical procedure and your post operative care. The nurse will schedule the date of your surgery and your return appointments, which may involve hand therapy. Our specialized team is available for any questions or concerns you may have before, during or after your procedure. As patient care providers we strive to give our patients the best medical care and service possible.
