Dr. Eric R. George
Eric R. George, M.D. is a native of Huntington, West Virginia, and received his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. He completed a General Trauma Surgery Residency at Michigan State University. He then completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Grand Rapids Area Medical Education Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Subsequently, Dr. George completed an Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Reconstructive Fellowship at the Integrated Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. He is Board certified and holds a certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. He has contributed numerous articles for hand journals and educational textbooks. Dr. George is a member of many national, regional, state, and local medical societies including: the Microsurgical Reconstructive Surgery Society, the American Association for Hand Surgery, and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. George and his family reside in New Orleans, Louisiana.
